1. Different Handwriting
This is one of the most common reasons for the rejection of IGNOU Assignments. Suppose, your assignment is 4 pages. "Out of these pages, you wrote two pages on your own and for the remaining two, you asked your friend, or brother/sister to write" In this case, the handwriting in your assignment will be different. And hence, it will face rejection. Therefore, make sure that your assignment has only one handwriting throughout.
2. Not Completed Minimum Period of One Year/6 Months
When you take admitted to "IGNOU", then if you have a yearly program, you need to submit your assignment after one year, whereas if your program is semester or certificate-based, you will need to submit your assignment after 6 months. You need to know the complete name of your study centre, and its code and fill these in properly. 10. Submitted assignment for two courses together, each course separately submission required
In the online submission of the assignment, the PDF of your assignment needs to be submitted one by one. Suppose, you have 4 subjects, you need to send their assignment per subject, and not in just one PDF File. You need to submit this subject-wise, not all subject assignments in one go. 11.File Size more than 25 MB
When you are about you submit your assignment, you are provided with a limit of the PDF file. If your file size exceeds 25 MB, in that case also your assignment might get rejected. Importantly, 25 MB alone may not be the limit to submitting your assignment. It could be less or more than 25 MB. The bottom line is that you need to limit your assignment as per the prescribed limit.
