Description
After independence, the main objective of the state as enshrined in the Directive Principles and Fundamental Rights of the Constitution has been usher in rapid socio-economic development. To achieve these objectives, Government of India has started to frame various policies to accomplish the predetermined goals. In India various governmental and non-governmental institutions are engaged in policy process. The Government agencies have significant impact on policy process while non-governmental institutions also influence the policy to some extent. International agencies also play a vital role in particular policies while respecting the vision of a country.
