The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks either in the bachelor's degree or in the Master's degree. If you are an engineering graduate, you must have scored at least 55% marks in your graduation.

Candidates must be trained in-service teachers in education. In-service teacher means the candidate must be working/practising as a teacher in school while applying for this course.

Finally, the third requirement is that the candidate must get through the IGNOU B.Ed. entrance exam to pursue the course.
If you successfully satisfy these eligibility criteria, then you can pursue the B.Ed. degree from IGNOU, which is valid for all government jobs and private jobs.
Note: If you have not done any elementary teachers' programs, you will not be eligible for the IGNOU B.Ed. course. So you must choose a regular B.Ed. course by attending a full-time study.
