In order to get enrolled in IGNOU MBA New Course, you must first understand the most important thing, i.e.,
IGNOU MBA Eligibility Criteria.
Given below are the eligibility criteria for IGNOU MBA Course:
• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree
• Those candidates who belong to the General Category, must have 50% marks in Graduation
• Those candidates who belong to the General Category, must have 45% Graduation
• Age is not a bar for applying for IGNOU MBA New Program. So, you are never too late, if you want to get MBA from IGNOU through its new course.
IGNOU MBA Fees 2023
After Criteria, the next thing that appears in the minds of IGNOU Aspirants, happens to be the IGNOU MBA Fees 2023. As this is the course that is available for everyone and anyone, for some students, the fees for IGNOU MBA New is of utmost importance.
IGNOU MBA Application Fees
IGNOU MBA Application Fees are distributed as follows:

IGNOU MBA Entrance Exam
Previously, there was a tough procedure for getting enrolled in IGNOU MBA. There was an entrance exam for MBA, popularly known as OPENMAT or, Open MBA Admission Test. The aspirants of IGNOU MBA had to appear for the OPENMAT Entrance and clear the entrance test, in order to get enrolled in the IGNOU MBA Course. The exam of OPENMAT used to get conducted twice a year, i.e., in the months of January and July.
However, it is important to mention here that IGNOU has eliminated OPENMAT and hence, if you want to do MBA from IGNOU, you can directly take admission. IGNOU allows you to get registered from its official website for the July 2023 session.
IGNOU MBA Admission Process 2023-24
As mentioned above, IGNOU has eased its MBA Admission Process. Clearing the OPENMAT entrance test is no longer required.
However, the IGNOU MBA Admission Process for 2023-24 is as follows:
• Visit the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, i.e, IGNOU
• Once you are on IGNOU Portal, get yourself registered
• On IGNOU Portal, sign in with the help of your registered email along with the password
• The MBA admission form will get displayed in front of you
• Now, fill in the boxes on the admission form. In this form, you will be asked to fill in your personal and professional details as well as the supporting documents
• Verify all the details and submit
• You should take its printout also so that you can produce it in the future if asked to do so

• Certificate of previous educational qualifications
• Certificate of work experience
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
• National Identity Card
• Form fee of Rs. 1000
