Description
BEGC–104 throws light on the ideas, philosophies, and approaches connected with the English literature spanning the 14th to 17th century, which we know as the early modern era. In this course, students learn about religion's critical role during that period and the emergence of new ideologies that significantly change English culture and society. The works covered in BEGC–104 include Chaucer and Spenser, Shakespeare and Donne, Marlowe: Doctor Faustus, and Macbeth by Shakespeare.
