Description
BANS–184 help students learn the essentials of public health and epidemiology. The course is divided into four blocks. The first block examines methods for assessing public health and designing interventions in response to the data obtained. The second block emphasizes the contribution of sociocultural factors to the development of illness. This section also discusses methods and the management of public health. The course content of the third block is devoted to statistical methods and epidemiological techniques used in health research. Disciplines covered in BANS – 184 include the epidemiology of diseases, environmental health, the influence of social factors on public health and illness, theory and methods of public health, data analysis, and advanced statistics.
