Bachelor of Arts (BA) Program

Students can apply to the University's Bachelor's Degree Program through both formal and non-formal routes. The non-formal stream consists of those students who have not cleared 10+2 or equivalent exams. Students who wish to be admitted to IGNOU's degree program must first pass its Bachelor's Preparatory Program (BPP).

A learner will get a BA./BSc./B.Com/BSW degree when they earn 96 credit points from three categories of courses – Foundation courses, Elective Courses and Application-Oriented Courses. Learners who complete 48 credits in any discipline will be given a BA Major Degree, whereas others will be awarded a BA General Degree.
