If you are a researcher and you introduce the problem which you are going to focus on your research is named as a research proposal. You must also clearly convey the need for your research in it. This proposal plays a key role in your project because only when your proposal gets approved, you can carry on with your research.
So your proposal must have the questions which you will answer after researching. Also, you must state the methods which you are going to use in the research process. All these together form a research proposal where the reader gets quick information about your project.
The project plays a significant role in all IGNOU courses. Your project consists of a series of tasks which has to be completed to attain a solution. Every final year student irrespective of their background must do a final year project.
