Assignments can be written either with a blue or a black pen and students must avoid using any other color pen as the prescribed color is blue or black.
Each assignment should be done separately and should not be mixed. As we know, assignments are also given to check the creativity of the students so it is generally advised by IGNOU to complete the assignments after doing proper research from books, newspapers, or the internet. It must be unique as copying of assignments gives a negative impression. You should frame the ideas that are in a way different from others. Importantly, proper spacing should be given after each answer.
The cover page is a must for each assignment. It must include the program's full name, course code, the course title, assignment code, study center, session month and year, mobile number, enrollment number, student name, residence address, signature, and date.
Also, it should be kept in mind that while writing an answer, its question should also be written before writing the answer to avoid attaching a question paper while submitting the IGNOU Assignment.
After finishing the assignment, it should be arranged in a proper manner to avoid confusion and a paper file should be used as IGNOU restricts the use of plastic files.
Candidates should submit their assignments to the coordinator of the allocated study center and not to any of the IGNOU centers.
