About Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security Information
The PG Diploma in Information Security (PGDIS) program has been designed to bridge the awareness gap between various categories of people using the Internet and various IT-enabled services about more profound aspects of Information Security, responsible use, and management of IT services. It is a PG Diploma level program with an exit option of PG Certificate in Information Security (PGCIS) after completing the first semester and 32 credits worth. There is a minimum program completion time of one year and a maximum program completion time of three years.
This program aims to provide students with:
- Educate students about the security and protection of information.
- Protecting and securing personal data is essential, as well as developing a data-driven infrastructure in companies.
- Educate students and individuals about the importance of maintaining information security.
- Experiencing and learning about the skills and techniques needed to provide protection and security for our information.
