The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended its outreach beyond the borders of the country. The globalization of higher education, particularly through the distance mode of delivery, has given an altogether different perspective to the cross border delivery of IGNOU’s academic programs in various countries. The international division has expanded its academic courses and different regional centers in various parts of South Asia, the Middle East, and African nations.

HE Or HIGHER EDUCATION is a post graduate degree conferred to students. Like any other college course, PGDHE is also a one year course.
With the academic session of July 2019, the IGNOU has adopted the Choice Based Credit System presented by the University Grants Commission. The Choice-based Credit System, which is on offer at the Post Graduation level, gives adaptability to the students to study the subjects/courses of their needs and interests.
