The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended its outreach beyond the borders of the country. The globalization of higher education, particularly through the distance mode of delivery, has given an altogether different perspective to the cross-border delivery of IGNOU’s academic programs in various countries. The international division has expanded its academic courses and different regional centers in various parts of South Asia, the Middle East, and African nations.
IGNOU offers around 60 academic programs to its overseas / FSRI students. Currently, IGNOU’s Academic Programs are on offer in the U.A.E (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, & Ras Al Khaimah. IGNOU offers comprehensive training in the Open Learning system and Distance Education methodologies to the Open University personnel overseas.

HRM OR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT is a post-graduate degree conferred to students. Like any other college course, PGDHRM is also a one-year course.
With the academic session of July 2022, the IGNOU has adopted the Choice Based Credit System presented by the University Grants Commission. The Choice-based Credit System, which is on offer at the Post Graduation level, gives adaptability to the students to study the subjects/courses of their needs and interests.
IGNOU UAE international division follows the same guidelines as Indira Gandhi National Open University. UAE FRSIs (through Regional Centres in India) and Overseas can now adopt the IGNOU PGDHRM courses depending upon their needs and Students' Requirements.
