IGNOU MEDSP-51 Project – Role of Stakeholders in Management of the Tourism

Tourism means travel for leisure, recreational, family or business purposes, mostly of a limited duration. Tourism, is mostly associated without-bound travel, but may also include travel to another location within the same country. Tourists are the people "traveling to and staying in places other than their domestic environment for not more than one consecutive year for business, leisure, other purposes".

Objectives

• To analyze the role of stakeholders in managing the tourism in Delhi Haat.
• To study the stakeholder perspectives on the potential of tourism development at Delhi Haat.
• To study role of Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) in promoting tourism in Delhi Haat.
• To study the satisfaction levels of tourists tourism management at Delhi Haat.
