IGNOU MPCE-26 Project – Emotional Intelligence and Aggression among Children Facing Violence at Home in Comparison of Normal Children

In our society, violence is increasing with the complexity of our life. It is present almost everywhere and nowhere this eruption is more intense than right inside the doors of our homes. Behind the closed doors of homes all across our country, people are tortured, beaten and sometimes even killed. It is happening in rural areas, towns, cities and in metropolitans as well. It is across all social classes, genders, racial lines and age groups. It is becoming a legacy being passed on from one generation to another.

Objectives

• The following objectives for the present study: -
• To measure the level of Emotional Intelligence among children facing violence at homes and normal children
• To study the level of Aggression among children facing violence at homes and normal children
• To find out the difference in the level of Emotional Intelligence of the children facing violence at homes and normal children
• To find out the difference in the level of Aggression of the children facing violence at homes and normal children
