1. The demographic dividend is one time opportunity and is expected to last 25 years. In the light of this statement, explain the challenges coming on the way of reaping demographic dividend in India.

2. Differentiate between governance and government. Go through the website http.//info.worldBank.org/governance/wgi of world vide governance indicators project. Identify the aggregate indicators for India. How has India fared in these different dimensions?

Section - B

3. What is fiscal imbalance? What are its measures? How far FRBM has been effective to correct fiscal imbalances?

4. What do you mean by climate change? Has it affected Indian Agriculture? Which initiatives have been taken to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change?

5. What is informal sector? Discuss the major challenges being encountered by the informal sector.

Answer the following questions in about 700 words each.

1. “The question of Centre-State relations has become the focal point of discussion for a number of reasons”- Comment on this statement and point out the reasons for conflict between Centre and State.
2. “The pattern of structural change in the Indian economy has deviated from the development pattern of Western and South Asian economies.” Examine this statement.

Section B

Answer the following questions in about 400 words each.

3. What are the objectives of Monetary policy? Which instruments are used by the RBI to attain these objectives? How far the monetary policy has been effective to control the inflation?
4. Till 17th Contrary India was the largest GDP contributor worldwide. Give an account of reasons for disruption of the traditional Indian economy during British period.
5. Discuss the contribution being made by MSME sector to the Indian economy. Give an account of the policy measures initiated by the Central Government to meet the challenges being encountered by MSME sector.
6. State the features of changing nature of world trade? How far the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ programmes are in tune with changing nature of world trade?
7. State the various dimensions of deterioration in the quality of employment in India. Also examine the policy implications of slowdown in women’s workforce participation rate.

प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 700 शब्दों में देना है।

1. "जनांकिकीय लाभांश एक बार आने वाला अवसर है और इसके 25 वर्ष तक चलने की उम्मीद है"- इस कथन के आलोक में जनांकिकीय लाभांश प्राप्त करने के मार्ग में आने वाली चुनौतियों की व्याख्या करें।
2. शासन एवं सरकार के बीच अंतर बतायें। वेबसाइट http://info.worldBank.org/governance/wgi के माध्यम से विश्वव्यापी शासन संकेतक परियोजना और भारत के कुल संकेतकों को बतायें। यह भी बताएं कि भारत ने इन विभिन्न आयामों में कैसा प्रदर्शन किया है ?

प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 500 शब्दों में देना है।

3. वित्तीय असंतुलन क्या हैं? इसके विभिन्न मापक क्या हैं? वित्तीय असंतुलनों के दूर करने में FRBM कहाँ तक प्रभावी हुआ है ?
4. जलवायु परिवर्तन से आप क्या समझते हैं ? क्या इससे भारतीय कृषि प्रभावित हुई है? जलवायु परिवर्तन के दुष्परिणामों को कम करने में कौन कौन से प्रयास किए गये हैं?

खंड - क

1. "अनेक कारणों से केंद्र तथा राज्यों के बीच संबंध का प्रश्न विचार-विमर्श का केंद्र बिंदु बन गया है"। इस कथन पर टिप्पणी करें। केंद्र तथा राज्यों के बीच विवाद के कारण बताएं।

2. "भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में ढाँचागत परिवर्तन का प्रतिमान पश्चिमी एवं दक्षिणी एशिया की अर्थव्यवस्थाओं के विकास प्रतिमानों से विचलित हुआ है।" इस कथन का परीक्षण करें।

खंड - ख

3. मौद्रिक नीति के क्या उद्देश्य रहे हैं? रिज़र्व बैंक द्वारा इन उद्देश्यों के पूर्ति हेतु किन संयंत्रों का प्रयोग किया जाता है? मुद्रा स्फीति को नियंत्रण करने में मौद्रिक नीति कहाँ तक सफल रही है?

4. सत्रहवीं सदी तक पूरे विश्वभर में सकल घरेलू उत्पादन (GDP) में भारत का सर्वाधिक योगदान रहा। इस आलोक में ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान परंपरागत भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में विध्वंश के कारणों का लेखा जोखा दें।

5. भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में मध्यम एवं लघु उपक्रमों (MSME) द्वारा किये जा रहे योगदान की चर्चा कीजिए । एमएसएमई क्षेत्र द्वारा सामना की जाने वाली चुनौतियों का मुकाबला करने हेतु केंद्र सरकार द्वारा उठाए गए नीतिगत उपायों का लेखा-जोखा दीजिए।

6. विश्व व्यापार की बदलती हुई प्रकृतिगत विशेषताओं को बताइये। 'Make in India' तथा ‘Digital India' कार्यक्रम कहाँ तक विश्व व्यापार की बदलती हुई प्रकृति से सुसंगत हैं।

7. भारत में रोज़गार की गुणवत्ता में गिरावट के विविध आयामों को बताइये। महिलाओं की कार्यशक्ति सहभागिता दर में आई गिरावट के निहितार्थों को बताइये ।
