Master of Business Administration (Banking and Finance) (MBF) is a postgraduate qualification offered to IIBF members by IGNOU due to an MoU. Providing in-service banking personnel with a postgraduate level degree has been deemed necessary to enhance their managerial skills, capabilities, and orientation.

Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF)

The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a professional organization that represents the interests of banks, financial institutions, and their employees in India. It was established in 1928 as a company under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1913.

IIBF has gained a reputation as being among the leading institutes in Banking and Finance education for people already working in the sector or seeking employment. In the Banking & Finance domain, the Institute awards various qualifications, including JAIIB, CAIIB, Diplomas, and Certificates, covering different and current disciplines. In India, only the IIBF offers all the capacity-building courses stipulated by the Reserve Bank of India. By participating in the Continuing Professional Development Programmes, industry professionals have been able to maintain their professionalism.
