The topics covered in BHIC–104 include the political system, economic and social structure, religion and crisis of the Roman Empire. It also provides insight into feudalism in Europe (7th to 14th century), religion, culture and economy in medieval Europe, societies in central Islamic lands, and the trading world of Asia and the Arabs.
