Objectives of the study

1. To examine the socio-economic challenges faced by families in Patna, Bihar, including financial stress, unemployment, and migration.
2. To analyze the impact of urbanization and modernization on family structures, particularly the transition from joint to nuclear families.
3. To explore intergenerational conflicts within families in Patna, focusing on differences in values, aspirations, and communication patterns.
4. To investigate the role of technology and social media in influencing family relationships and communication dynamics.
5. To assess the mental health challenges within families, including stress, anxiety, and depression, and their underlying causes.
6. To study the impact of cultural practices such as arranged marriages, dowry, and gender roles on family harmony and individual well-being.
7. To identify the coping mechanisms and support systems utilized by families to address these challenges.
8. To provide recommendations for policymakers, social organizations, and community leaders to strengthen family support systems and promote harmony.
