IGNOU has given students the opportunity to study in simple and easy language through online lectures in 13 regional languages!
For students who are not proficient in Hindi and English language, it is good news that language will no longer be a problem in their studies.
These types of students can now enroll in their favorite courses and study in their regional language.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started online lectures, taking a step forward towards teaching regional languages. Through this initiative, students will get a chance to study in a simple and judicious manner.
Through online study, courses in social science and humanities will be taught in the form of lectures through YouTube channels in 13 regional languages. At present, there are 4 live lectures in the same language every day, which are later saved on YouTube. With this, students who miss live lectures can watch lectures at their own time and convenience. These lectures are available in more than a thousand languages in 13 regional languages from 9 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 4 pm till July 15 and have also been uploaded on YouTube. The trend towards studies among students of regional languages is also increasing.
The university has said that most South Indian students have difficulty understanding Hindi and English, which is the main language of instruction. Therefore, students had difficulty studying at IGNOU and other universities. For this reason, many students were not able to enroll in their favorite courses due to language problems, but now they are getting the opportunity to study in their own language from IGNOU.
